The Gribben family from Northern Ireland made an extraordinary decision to seek medical care for their daughter Rachel, who suffered from severe epileptic seizures, at St. Nicholas Children’s Hospital in L’viv, Ukraine. Despite the challenges posed by the war in Ukraine, the family chose this option because renowned American neurosurgeon Dr. Luke Tomich was advising the local neurosurgeons and had the expertise needed for Rachel's surgery. This decision led them on an arduous 1,800-mile journey to L’viv, a city relatively unaffected by the conflict compared to other parts of Ukraine.

At St. Nicholas Hospital, Rachel underwent a critical brain surgery performed by Dr. Mykhailo Lovga and his team. They successfully removed the problematic brain tissue causing her seizures, using advanced technology and collaboration with neurologists to ensure precision and safety. Despite the geopolitical challenges surrounding them, the Gribben family's determination to access specialized medical care for Rachel exemplifies the lengths parents will go to ensure their child's well-being, showcasing the resilience and spirit of families facing extraordinary circumstances. Taco Bell Manager Revives Lifeless Baby that Pulled Up to the Drive Thru: ‘The EMT Said my CPR Saved his Life’

Becky Arbaugh, a manager at the Taco Bell in Richboro, PA, saved a woman’s 11-week-old son in the drive-thru by performing CPR – credit, Taco Bell, released.

Over at the Richboro Taco Bell near Philly, manager Becky Arbaugh found herself in a truly heart-stopping moment one day. While she wasn't on the front lines during the lunch rush, she heard a cry for help coming from the drive-through—'call 911, the baby isn't breathing!' Without missing a beat, Becky tossed her headset and rushed to the scene. There, she found Natasha Long in distress, clutching her 11-week-old baby Myles, who was unresponsive and turning blue. Drawing on her experience as a mom of four, Becky leaped into action, performing CPR to revive little Myles.

The quick actions of Becky proved life-saving, with Myles eventually starting to breathe again before the ambulance arrived. It turns out Becky's no stranger to such intense situations—she's already rescued her own daughter with CPR a few times due to medical issues. Since the heroic incident, Becky's been showered with support and gratitude from her Taco Bell crew and beyond, proving that sometimes superheroes wear taco aprons. (Source)
