Guess who's back with a brand new test program? Volkswagen is hitting the road in Austin with a fleet of 10 all-electric ID Buzz vehicles, fully equipped with Mobileye's nifty tech. Remember that time when autonomous vehicle startup Argo called it quits? Well, VW is picking up the pieces and going full speed ahead with a new partner and plan.

Volkswagen Group of America is leading the charge and has even created a cool new subsidiary called Volkswagen ADMT (autonomous driving, mobility, and transport). They're bringing in some of the talented engineers from Argo (we're not sure if they were already on VW's payroll, though) to help make this dream a reality.

Starting small, VW will test the Mobileye technology in Austin with a couple of vehicles this July. But fear not, by the end of the year, all 10 of these babies will be hitting the streets. Equipped with fancy cameras, lidar, radar, and self-driving software, they're all set to collect some serious data. Of course, there will be a human safety operator in the driver's seat during this testing phase โ€“ better safe than sorry!

But wait, there's more! VW has big plans to expand this autonomous adventure to at least four more American cities over the next few years. And you know what's even cooler? They're not just aiming to be another run-of-the-mill robotaxi service. Nope, they're thinking bigger! VW wants to sell their self-driving ID Buzz vans and top-notch fleet management software to other companies for deliveries or ride-hailing.

Christian Senger, a Volkswagen bigwig, said, "We're on a roll, folks! Taking our autonomous vehicle program to North America is the next step in our grand plan. We're going to test, validate, and refine our technology, and before you know it, we'll have all sorts of awesome transportation offerings. The Volkswagen Group is on fire!"

So get ready to see those ID Buzz vans zipping around Austin, and keep an eye out for the future of autonomous mobility from Volkswagen. Buckle up, my friends, the autonomous adventure has just begun! ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ (Source)

๐Ÿ‘ Emoji Power: Thumbs-Up Emoji Now Legally Binding in Canada!

In a recent Canadian court ruling, it has been determined that the thumbs-up emoji can be considered a valid signature in legal contracts. Here's the scoop: Grain buyer Kent Mickleborough sent a text about buying flax, and after some communication with Bob and Chris Achter, a contract was drafted and sent via text. Mickleborough applied his ink signature, took a photo, and sent it to Chris Achter, who responded with a thumbs-up emoji. However, Achter Land & Cattle Ltd failed to deliver on the contract, claiming that the emoji only meant they received the message. But the judge disagreed! He ruled that the thumbs-up emoji conveyed the intent to enter into the contract, making it legally binding. Talk about emoji power! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ผ (Source)

๐Ÿ’ช Jessica Simpson Sets the Record Straight on Weight Loss: No Ozempic Involved!

Hold on to your hats, folks, because Jessica Simpson is here to set the record straight about her jaw-dropping weight loss journey. We've all been buzzing about how she managed to shed those pounds after giving birth to her third child, but let me tell you, it's not thanks to some fancy drug called Ozempic. In a recent interview, the 42-year-old mom-of-three spilled the beans and made it crystal clear that her incredible transformation is all about her sheer willpower and ditching the alcohol, not relying on any miracle pills.

"Oh Lord. I mean, it is not Ozempic," she exclaimed, putting those rumors to rest once and for all. Jessica is all about the power of her own mind and determination. She knows what works for her body, and it's not about popping some magic pill.

But let's not forget the elephant in the roomโ€”Jessica has been no stranger to the spotlight when it comes to discussions about her weight. The constant chatter and scrutiny can take a toll, but this girl is fierce. She refuses to let the negativity bring her down. While it may hurt at times, she knows she's too old and too connected to herself to let it derail her. We're here for that self-love and resilience!

Here's the kicker: Jessica has experienced a rollercoaster ride with her weight over the years, bouncing between a size 0 and a size 12. But guess what? She's actually grateful for that fluctuation. Why, you ask? Well, it turns out that her ever-changing size has played a pivotal role in understanding her audience as she built her fashion empire. From walking in different-sized shoes to embracing her curves, Jessica has used her own experiences to create a brand that truly resonates with women of all shapes and sizes. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade!

In her 2020 memoir, Open Book, Jessica opened up about her struggles with weight and her reliance on diet pills early in her career. It's a story many can relate toโ€”the pressure to conform to societal expectations and the lengths we go to in order to fit in. But Jessica has come a long way since then. She sought professional help and completely revamped her lifestyle, leading to a jaw-dropping 100-pound weight loss just six months after giving birth to her daughter, Birdie, in 2019.

So how did she do it? Well, she worked hard, stayed determined, and showed herself some serious self-love. Jessica made changes to her eating habits with the help of a nutritionist, followed a healthy eating plan, and even committed to walking 14,000 steps a day. It wasn't just about losing weight; it was a journey of empowerment, self-acceptance, and embracing her true self.

In the end, Jessica wants us all to remember that it's not about chasing some unattainable ideal. It's about accepting and loving ourselves for who we are, no matter our size or shape. So let's raise a glass to Jessica Simpson for inspiring us to celebrate our unique beauty and rock that self-love like a boss! Cheers to embracing our beautiful selves! (Source)

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ Inspiring Story: Meet Huynh Tieu Huong, the "Mother Theresa of Vietnam"

Image Credit: Que Huong Charity Center โ€“ from Facebook

In Vietnam, there resides an extraordinary woman named Huynh Tieu Huong, whose remarkable story of resilience and compassion has touched the lives of hundreds of children. Overcoming a life of incredible hardship, her journey began when she was left as a foundling on a doorstep, abandoned by her own parents. Despite these challenging beginnings, Huong's unwavering spirit led her to establish a non-profit organization dedicated to the adoption, support, and free offering of loving kindness to foundlings, orphans, and homeless children.

Fondly referred to as the "Mother Theresa of Vietnam" by national media, Huong's mission is fueled by the support of donors and volunteers who believe in her cause. Thanks to their generosity, 346 children have found solace under Huong's care, receiving not only the basic necessities of education, safe places to sleep and play, and medical care but also the nurturing and love needed for their healthy development into adulthood.

Huong's own origins remain shrouded in uncertainty, as she doesn't possess a definite birth date or surname. It was through the selfless efforts of an old homeless woman that Huong found a loving home with a young couple in the city of Vinh Phu. However, fate dealt her a cruel blow when she fell into the hands of sexual predators. Only with the help of her vigilant neighbors did she manage to escape a life of perpetual exploitation.

Subsequently, Huong's life was marked by years of vagabondry until one fateful day when a baby girl was left on her doorstep. Embracing this unexpected gift, she adopted the child, and it was in this act of selflessness that the universe finally began to smile upon her. Meeting a Chinese man who provided financial support, Huong could secure an apartment and start her own business, enabling her to support herself and her daughter, Anh Dao.

In 1993, Huong's altruistic nature led her to volunteer at the Vietnam Relief Association, assisting orphans and the elderly. Inspired by her experiences, she founded the Que Huong Charity Center in the Tan Dong Hiep Commune in 2001, becoming a beacon of hope for countless children in need. Over time, the number of dependants under her care steadily grew, surpassing the 300 mark. In recognition of her dedication, Huong established the Mother Huong Foundation to further support her mission.

Not only has Huong's work impacted her local community, but she has also begun expanding her outreach beyond Vietnam's borders, including the United States. Volunteers from all over Asia are drawn to her cause, offering their time and assistance to create a nurturing environment for the children. Heartwarming gestures, such as Japanese sponsors visiting the children on New Year's Eve with gifts and haircuts, demonstrate the profound impact that Huong's compassion has on those around her.

Huynh Tieu Huong's extraordinary journey serves as a testament to the power of resilience, empathy, and the indomitable human spirit. Through her selfless dedication, she has given hope and a brighter future to the lives she has touched, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to be under her care.
